How much is a mold test?
A whole house visual inspection is complimentary and included in every test. Our only cost is $125 per sample. Travel fee may apply to anywhere 25 miles outside of Denver, CO.
What is included in a mold test?
Our professional mold test includes a whole house visual inspection using tools such as infrared camera, moisture meter, and a hygrometer. We will look for leaks, discoloration, warping, bubbling, peeling, and areas where water intrusion can occur. During this inspection we take temperature readings, moisture readings of walls, ceilings, digital photos of all findings. After the inspection we will recommend testing in the high-risk areas found during the inspection.
3. Can you tell something is mold by looking at it?
No, you should not assume something is mold by looking at it. Testing is the only way to be 100% certain. Mold can be mistaken for dirt and grime and dirt and grime can be mistaken for mold.
What is needed for mold to grow?
Mold requires water, food, and oxygen to grow. Even the tiniest bit of moisture can be enough for mold to grow.
What are signs of mold growth?
Water damage, discoloration, rotten smell, allergies, warped walls.
What are symptoms of mold in my house?
Sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, itchy eyes, nose and throat watery eyes, and coughing.
